A study of the effects of school age children's self-control, internet addiction, the time with play-based self-control training program

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of self-control, internet addiction, the time of play-based self-control training program on elementary school students. The program is based on self-exploration and problem recognition, setting one's own goals and finding alternatives, self-control training, departure stages that based on the therapeutic factors of play, and it was constructed to fit the development stages and characteristics of childhood. The program was carried out over 10 sessions total, twice a week. The result of this study are the play-based self-control training program reduces the degree of school age children's internet addiction and the time they spend on the internet. And the play-based self-control training program increases the self-control. This study shows that the play-based self-control training program is effective for internet addiction and self-control among elementary school student.
